Each type of timber, or closely related group of timbers, possesses a distinct end surface pattern that serves as a key identifier. Successfully identifying timber species necessitates memorizing these unique patterns, a task made challenging by the vast array of timber varieties available in the market. Consequently, there is a growing need for an application that enables semi-trained or untrained individuals to capture, analyze, and identify unknown wood samples.

Introducing myWoodPremium, an app designed to assist users in identifying up to 20 local Malaysian timber groups for free. This app is compatible with smartphones (iPhone 6 and above) and offers a comprehensive database of up to 100 timber species for accurate identification purposes.
